Hope you enjoyed this little bit of the Baker's history from the cabin at 29 Palms as much as I did looking back at it.

February 16, 2009 - I visited. I wrote, “Here to check on roof job completed by Abo
ve All Roofing on February 15, 2009 (cost $1500.00). The contractor removed the old roof and hauled away roof trash. Installed new felt, 30 year shingles and flashing. Roof looked good. The inside of the cabin was covered with roofing debris from when the old roof was taken off and had to be cleaned up. Also replaced one back side window. Weather was overcast and a little windy but nice to work outside”.

July 5, 2003 – Sam the dog (Ronnie and Nikii’s) and I visited. I wrote, “Came to repair the roof. Nailed down the west side and cemented as needed. Place looked ok. Maria said to say Hi! Took bookend table to refinish. Got here at 7:30 a.m. and it was warm and nice. Stayed about an hour and a half”.
