October 5, 1995 – Christie and I visited. Christie wrote, “On our way to Laughlin. Stopped by to see Ronnie graduate at the 29 Palms Marine Base. Who would have ever thought Roger and Eva Lou’s grandson would graduate and be stationed here in paradise!! Gotta go now and so do those 2 darn cactus plants out front!”
